The Next Big Thing


I’ve read report after report of how to increase diversity in investable businesses. Here’s the thing though this is a system just like anything else. If you have a group with power that tends to look the same and is judging which companies are admitted to accelerators and early funding the problems tend to be problems the group understands. And the founders presenting those businesses, well they tend to look like the leadership as as well.

If your goal is to increase diversity, consider inviting diverse leadership into your strategy. This is especially important when it comes to early stage resources.
