Having a waitlist IS a positive for a launch but what many founders forget is this: a waitlist isn’t a direct correlative to customers. Depending on the tactics you’ve used to generate and nurture your waitlist will put a pretty big difference in how many of those people actually convert to customers.

If you are asking for an investor to invest in you and your business you should have at least few anchor pre-sales in the bag and a whatever type of product you can build with the resources and skills you have available to you.
